Fulfill The Purpose Of Your Success By BOB LANCER PART 1 Within the core of your being a pattern exists, the pattern of your true self. It expresses your true will. Living true to your true will or core-will satisfies your hunger for the sense of fulfilled purpose and demonstrates the essence of a truly successful life. The farther you depart from or conflict with your core-will the more misery you feel deep within. The guidance of your true will emanates from the core of your being as an intuitive sense of feeling and knowing (we can call it "feel-knowing". This is the inner guiding force we can call true or core wisdom. It indicates your true path, the way of being true to yourself in the present moment. Your true will's guidance also emanates in the form of an inner feel-knowing of how aligned a given choice is with your true self. We can call this inner guiding sense the light of true self-understanding. To follow the guidance of true wisdom and self-understanding is to find and follow your true way here and now. Following any other way means following a false way, a way that is false for you, a way leading to real emptiness. The first stage of living life your way involves feeling and heeding the inner core-hunger (or soul-hunger) rising up into your consciousness, "calling" you to come within, to connect with yourself at deeper level. True self-understanding also expresses in the form of inner vision. You can see a mental flashing image of your sacred destiny, of what you are meant to do, of the way for you to fulfill your true purpose. It can also come in the form of an auditory "inner voice", or in the form of abstract symbols of shape, color, sound, light or darkness, smell or even touch. The form matters little, though. The feel-knowing beneath it reveals the true meaning. Becoming excited about "receiving a vision" or "hearing a voice" distorts the signal, confusing the meaning, leading to self-delusion. Following your true way requires a state of aware, sensitive inner openness focused upon deep inner feeling and knowing. When no clear signal is received, you are receiving the signal to remain in this conscious state of inner attunement even as you carry out the basic tasks of the day and follow your own best judgment in the meantime. Any mental or emotional turmoil, stress or tension blocks receptivity to the subtle signal of light and energy emanating from your core. Mental or emotional commotion and tumultuous desire interfere with the fine, inner signal of wisdom and understanding. They cover higher inner guidance like a thick morning fog hiding a beautiful meadow. Truth's beams cannot penetrate the dense layer of inner confusion. Thus, when one is in a crisis, the last thing one ought to do is panic, as that inner state of chaos obstructs the light of wise guidance and prevents deeper, accurate understanding from leading the conscious mind. Life's ups and downs give you the opportunity to exercise, and so to develop, your inner foundation of inner peace and poise needed to accurately recognize and follow the inner guidance of your true or core-self on a consistent basis.
